I’m not sure I can be more clear. Crock. Pot. Chicken. And. Dumplings.
It’s 5am and I’m sitting here with a w i d e a w a k e little boy. He’s laughing. Evil.
So I thought I’d share this wayyyy too easy recipe that we found on one of those fancy 30 second facebook videos and made yesterday when marshall had a day off work! Best part… leftovers!
It’s actually this simple:
In the crock pot – add one diced onion, 4 chicken breasts (we used filets), one bag of frozen peas and carrots.
In a bowl, mix one (10oz) can of each of the following: Cream of Chicken, Cream of Celery, and Chicken Broth. Add 1 tablespoon parsley. Mix well and then add to crock pot.
Cook on high for 3 hours.
Roll out (like with a roller… the baking kind) (can you tell I’m not queen of the kitchen?) one can of Grands Buttermilk Biscuits. Cut into strips and add to crock pot, and stir. Cook on high for 2 more hours and serve!
HINT: Want this to go faster? Bake the biscuits as normal, cut into pieces, and add to crock pot! Serve immediately!
You can thank me later.
