I remember Valentine’s Day at school – we all had our own little ‘mailbox’ and everyone would bring in their favorite superman or barbie valentine’s day cards. You were super cool if you attached it to a treat!
So I wanted to share with you two awesome kid’s valentine’s ideas that I love! The best part is that you can do both from home! So if you’re pushing that last minute limit, no worries. I got you.
My best friend Hope made these for her son to take to pre-school. He loves alllllll (there are a skazillion) of his construction vehicles, so this idea was just so perfect! She made these at home using her Cricut and the ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ cartridge. On the orange cards, she wrote I dig you! – how cute is that! And she finished all of it during one good nap time.
If you’re looking for something a little more hands off – check out this Etsy listing, from Natalie of AtHomeWithNatalie.com – she has the greatest printables! Plus, who doesn’t love a goldfish snack!? (photo credit: At Home With Natalie on Etsy) The best part is, it’s an instant download. So you buy, print, snack, and staple! Easy peasy.
We grown ups tend to stick to the Hallmark store – I can’t wait for M to see what I got him for Valentine’s day! It’s just something tiny, but cute!
Happy Valentine’s Day! xoxoxo
