We’ve made so much progress on the nursery in the past week! A blessing – because I’m really starting to slow down. Moving much is getting to be exhausting, so I’m glad that all we have left is little things!
One thing I wanted to do was to replace our nursery curtain rod finials with something a bit more beachy looking… because… well you know me.
After a lot of etsy shopping, I decided I can make these myself!
So I had marshall unscrew the finials that were on the curtain rods. I took a little bit of hot glue and a whole lot of jute twine string and VOILA!
Take a look below – it’s super simple…
I started with the old finial, unscrewed from the curtain rod.
I used a little hot glue to wrap the string around the finials…
Once I finished a layer, I decided to go back around for a second layer. You could still see some of the brown finial through the string, and the second layer really helped to cover that up!
Ta DA! Easy, huh?? And way cooler than the old icky brown ones.
