So here you go – Crock Pot Teriyaki Chicken!
(which was promptly devoured by B & O)
Start with 2 lbs of chicken in a crock pot!
In another bowl, mix the following:
- one chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup agave (or, another 1/4 cup honey)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
Pour this mixture over the chicken, and cook on low for 5 hours.
Shred the chicken and set it aside, saving the sauce.
Stir 1/4 cup of water and 3 tbsp of corn starch. Add the sauce from the crock pot and cook on a stovetop until thickened.
*Or until your hungry minions can’t wait any longer.
Pour this sauce over the chicken!
Serve over rice!
