corny dip: a favorite

I made Corny Dip for our BBQ this weekend, and it was a HUGE hit! It’s a good thing I doubled the recipe! This recipe has been passed around my family for years, after my mom got it from one of my college friends. This one is a sure thing – you’ll end up taking it to every party you go to!

For best results, make this dip the night before you plan to serve it. If you make it the day of your event, give yourself at least a few hours to let it chill in the fridge!

CORNY DIP (SERVED WITH TOSTITOS SCOOPS)

(Listed Recipe serves up to 10 people when served as an appetizer)

In a large mixing bowl, combine the following:

  • 1 cup mayonaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 28 oz corn
  • 8 oz shredded cheddar
  • 8 oz shredded pepper jack
  • 1/2 cup diced chillies
  • chopped jalapenos to taste

Serve cold with Tostitos Scoops!

Now, for our BBQ, with 15 people, many of which were guys that can put down a LOT of food, I doubled this recipe. All ratios were kept the same, and it turned out perfect!

We enjoyed our weekend with friends! We had 2 big dinners, and a great game of Cards Against Humanity – have you played that game? We LOVED it!

Marshall also has most of our new hardwood floors done in the dining room and living room!
